Here is an attempt to list and order by time the Christmas Market BWP jobs - those we know about. More will probably emerge. In about week's time we can start again on our normal BWP job list, which has grown a bit of course. Last Wednesday We picked up a roller from Brian's house and took to The Green. Two of us tried to roll the electric supply channels flat - but no good. We assembled the A frames of the Horse Show marquee at Simon's barn (eventually, not helped by wrong instructions used for the first hour or so) and took them to the Purple's garage. We made up two barrier posts for the Green roadways, and zoomed to Codicote to get a load of gravel which we spread on the path to the East of the church. Last Saturday Some of us braved the rain and cold and managed to assemble a very large marquee (actually two joined together) and fetched another marquee (the third) from the container and fetched the rest of the kit we need for the Market too. We also laid matting in the big marquee. Well done the those who made it. Last Sunday A better day and some of us managed to put up the third marquee in front of the other two, and fetched the 4th (Horse Show) marquee from Simon's barn and erected that too, including some of us going into the afternoon. Well done all. Next Wednesday 5th December Unfortunately rain forecast, however, needs must..... Mick - can you pick up Andy's trailer on your way please? Meet at 0930 on The Green to do fetching and carrying, and erecting marquees (smaller than the previous ones).
