A pleasant apre (French but can't do the accents)) Christmas BWP session was held in the Dacre Rooms today. As well as the usual entertaining banter, we did a few useful jobs.
The missing panel in the utility room ceiling was fitted by Les and John M. The hole in the office wall was filled by John P and Helmar and the door stop was fettled to stop future wall damage caused by the handle. The hole in the ceiling outside the office was examined and a solution has been agreed, the work is yet to be done, but it will involve covering the whole area with either plasterboard or ply. I will need to buy this, A route for the final 13A soket requested by Kate in the main room downstairs has been established. This will be done at a later date, I have all the needed bits. David S managed to figure out the cooker eventually, so we had warm mince pies made by Val P. The outside work involving the painting of the flashing with bitumin paint was not done as it was too cold. John P did the washing up.
