* The Willows at Rothampstead are now being bagged up and we can collect and take to the school on Thursday (to be confirmed) any help welcome.
* We have been asked to level Seymour grave and turf - job for end Feb, early March.
* I do have a few names for the Scout/Guide quiz on March 18th but am hoping for more
* We have acquired two proper road signs - of the ''men at work'' type, which we can use when we are working on pavements for instance.
Progress Last Week
We cleared yet more of the gap we were working on at the Eastern Rec hedge, and had a really big bonfire. It never fails to amaze us how much dead wood and ivy emerges from a few yards of unmanaged hedge. We now need to fill in the hedge with hedge trees. Jack had a look at the bottom of the broken waste bin, Les and David P did some Harding gate work, Jon and Paul did some Dacre chair breaking, others zoomed to Roy Davies's to collect the new picnic benches he has made and took them to the Dacre Rooms. Others zoomed to Jack's to carry stuff around to the back of Warren and Bernice's house. We took the chairs n bits to the allotment ready for the skip and the scrap man.
